This 8-hour training course provides a professional with the knowledge, skills, and applied strategies to effectively use social intelligence in all situations, from interviewing and dealing with incoming clients, to high-risk, high-stress environments. Emphasis is placed on de-escalation, communication, and community trust, using real-world scenarios and hands-on exercises. Students are trained to apply the R.E.A.D.S.℠ (pending) decision-making framework in real time during public safety interactions.
